Downtown Sidney Events
The Downtown Sidney Organization and the merchants of Downtown Sidney host many events throughout the year. We provide you with this events calendar to keep you abreast of what is happening in Sidney's downtown. Please refer to it often as it is a constantly changing list of downtown Sidney events.

  • Saturday, May 26. – Opening Day – The Great Sidney Farmer’s Market, every Saturday morning 8:00 a.m. – noon around the Shelby County Court Square thru October 13th.

  • Saturday, Oct 20 - Kids Fall Festival – Free for children ages 0-12, activities at Amos Memorial Library, trick-or-treating at downtown businesses and a costume judging contest on the north side of the Shelby County Court Square. 

November

  • Friday, Nov 16 – Winter Wonderland Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Lighting and rally begin at 6:30 p.m. on the east side of the Shelby County Court Square, with the parade at 7:30 p.m.

December

  • Saturday, Dec 1 – Christmas of Yesteryear – Have breakfast with Santa at the Spot. Visit downtown businesses, the Amos Memorial Library for crafts, the Ross Historical Center for crafts and photos with Santa (afternoon), entertainment, holiday displays and more. 
  • Wednesday, Dec 19 – Monthly meetings - Downtown Business Association - 8:00 a.m. @ the Chamber office (Third Wednesday of the month)
